Tariff Information

Many are wondering how the tariff situation will affect us, our dealer partners and ultimately our prices. The short answer is we don’t know what the future holds, but we are keeping a close eye on it daily.   

Here is what we do know:  

1. Every company in the cycling industry will be affected by the tariffs since the industry is greatly dependent on a global supply chain. Regardless of where any company assembles its products, the reality is, the parts, components, and raw materials that make up a trike or bike are produced by manufacturers in multiple countries.  

2. It is likely that consumers will see higher prices across the entire cycling industry.  If it costs more to get parts and materials, retail prices will rise. 

3. Finally: When TerraTrike or GreenSpeed product comes into the US with additional tariffs in place, it will be necessary to add to the price of that particular product.  We have not yet adjusted any prices since we currently have product in stock. 

So, if you are considering a new trike or accessory, now is a great time to buy!  If you aren’t ready yet, we will still be continuing with our normal production schedule to ensure you have a great new trike to buy; we just don’t know what it might cost or when a cost increase may come.
